Gah, I just love this picture. "Momlestia" is the best nickname for Tia, it just really describes her. I imagine her as a surrogate mother during Twilight's studies. 
Twilight is supposed to be a foal here, but I kinda failed in that aspect. :I
Very interestingly, if you combine Celestia and Twilight's patron colors (Yellow and purple) you get..... a twilight? Weird. I had a background drawn in the original paper sketch, but I decided to cut it. Didn't look that good. 
Also, Celestia's tail is artistically large.

It's very cute! I love the idea of like, celestia and twilight reading together, or other cute stuff like that. However, for like, tia's legs, you might want to draw them, idk, like, "shorter". It seems like Celestia's like...floating. I dunno, I'm bad at constructive criticism. v.v
